在經濟不景氣情況下，為了能讓台灣產業延續下一代，政府積極地推動新住民創新創業發展，並提供創業者協尋所需之創業資源，且釋出良好豐富的創業環境，使創業得以順利發展進而朝向創業研究邁進。過去創業家相關研究著重於創業家團隊能力及產品技術特性來探討，但某些議題上仍缺乏完整的探討，固本研究探討創業家人格特質、創業環境、創業資源因素對創業意圖之關聯性，針對個面向因素之相關探討為目的，做為未來有意創業者評量之參考。本研究針對在台灣的東南亞新住民作為研究對象，實證研究採用紙本問卷與網路問卷調查方式，問卷發放共計 165 份問卷，有效回收樣本164份，效回收率為99.75%，透過樣本資料分析、獨立樣本 t 檢定
、單因子變異數分析、信效度分析、相關分析及迴歸分析等統計分析方法來研究假設及進行驗證。研究結果顯示人格特質，創業資源，創業環境因素對創業意圖有顯著正向影響。最後根據研究結果發現提供未來有意創業之新住民參考。
