本論文聚焦在目前全世界最關心的高齡化問題。臺灣現在已成為世界上人口老齡化中年齡最老的國家之一，這意味著老年人口多於年輕人口。由於年輕一代的人口在減少，而高齡人口在增加，這是一個令人擔憂的情況。除此之外，我們也關心如何利用高齡人口的優勢，尤其是孝道文化在亞洲社會中扮演著非常重要的角色，傳統上由年輕人來照顧年長者。因此，將高齡家庭成員送到長期照護機構是一個極其困難的決策過程。在本論文中，我們從高齡服務管理的角度來看這個問題。從長遠來看，我們認為長期照護機構較為適合高齡化服務管理。本論文側重於定量研究，我們設計了研究調查問卷，並對本研究中的 202 名受訪者進行了調查。目標族群所有的受訪者都是 6

義竹翁氏宗族於鹽水岸內的遷徙及信仰

清領初期，諸翁氏家族自福建省泉州府渡海來臺，以龍蛟潭堡義竹圍庄（位於今嘉義縣義竹鄉境內）為主要拓墾地區，並以此為中心，逐漸發展為五個主要角頭與數個次要小聚落，後翁氏於義竹開枝散葉，部分則移墾其他地區，形成五個村落。到了清領末期，因生存空間遭受壓迫、追求更好的經濟環境、八掌溪洪水氾濫之故等多重原因，導致部分翁氏住民搬遷到鹽水港堡岸內庄（今臺南市鹽水區境內）一帶，成為來臺後的第二次移墾。在翁氏宗族渡臺之際，攜帶翁氏特有的祖佛——董公真人信仰來臺，每年董公真人的聖誕皆為義竹圍庄的一大盛事。爾後翁氏聚落因行政區劃而被分割成五個村落，雖仍保有共同祭拜之習俗，但是各村落已逐漸新增鄰近地區的神祇信仰，如王

爺信仰等。直到民國40年代五個村落信仰各自獨立發展，不再以董公真人為共同祭祀對象，而是呈現多元的信仰型態，部分義竹翁氏與鹽水岸內翁氏聚落，產生不同於原鄉祖籍特有信仰的祭祀對象，並且受到南鯤鯓五府千歲信仰的影響，而有類似的信仰系統。本文首先就翁氏宗族落籍於義竹圍庄的發展，探討翁氏一族的拓墾過程與方向，並說明翁氏董公真人信仰與目前翁氏五個村的信仰型態；其次討論翁氏一族自義竹圍庄搬遷到岸內庄的原因以及遷徙的過程，另論述二次遷徙後所建之聚落的信仰概況與發展。最後藉由兩地居民結構、社會經濟差異與宗教信仰來分析並討論兩地居民的連結性，以及遷徙的過程中所產生的信仰轉變現象。
