國立蘇澳高級海事水產職業學校體育班成立於2015年，其目的在於培育基層運動競技選手，並為國家產出優秀運動人才。本研究採文獻分析法及深度訪談法，試圖探究國立蘇澳高級海事水產職業學校體育班的發展現況及困境。根據研究結果所得知，目前學校的運動代表隊有籃球、柔道以及棒球三項，發展至今，已奠定下些許基礎，並有賴學校體育教師和教練團隊的努力，才能在困境中求得穩定的發展。以下針對了國立蘇澳高級海事水產職業學校體育班發展較為嚴峻的難題提出因應策略以及建言，1.學生招收：多為學校鄰近的國中端畢業學生為主，應提高學校知名度，實施機構自學並改善場地設備，藉此增加外地學生的招生就讀。2.經費來源：經費絕大多是仰賴政

府中央主管單位補助款和學校固定的編列，目前除了提升比賽成績的績效爭取補助外，更應該積極地尋找企業廠商以長期贊助的方式來補足經費上的不足之處。3.課業輔導：除了學業低落的學生額外補強，應於寒暑假期間增開加強課程，且依最新體育班設立辦法，來制定相對應的出賽課業標準，以此來改善學生課業成績低落的問題。4.學校支持：學校行政首長應和體育教師團隊達到最大的共識，擬定體育班發展的策略，投入大量資源創造最好的訓練環境，給予體育班學生最好的照顧，以利體育班的永續發展。
